Hypnotic Rectangles - by CoolMathArt

Playing around with a single Rectangle duplicated 6 times at different angles created quite a cool math art piece. Those 6 overlaid identicle Rectangles at different angles created Hexagons, Dodecagons, Squares, Stars, Pentagons, Equilateral Triangles, Rectangles, Isosceles Triangles, vertices and Right Triangles.

What was really strange was the hypnotic effect that spinning the object in 4 positions created. Squinting at it seems to almost appear to break it apart, spin it backwards and forwards, and appear jerky in its transition. It is in fact fairly fluid (as fluid as a 4 frame animation can be)

It could be smoother with more frames added but by doing that it removes the fun byproducts mentioned above from the piece.
